Bomb threat comes just a couple of hours after the Machinists’ union declared a strike from midnight tonight and after two days of pent-up anger in all the factories after a strike was delayed 48 hours by union leaders following the contract vote Wednesday.

The man accused of killing six people during a shooting rampage Tuesday was charged this afternoon with six counts of first-degree murder and four counts of first-degree assault with a firearm or deadly weapon in Skagit County District Court.

A Level 3 sex offender who tried to kidnap a woman in a Costco parking lot last year but was foiled by her screams has pleaded guilty to first-degree attempted kidnapping with sexual motivation and second-degree assault with a deadly weapon and could face up to 10 years in prison.
