QA: Cell phone on belt

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 4:47 am

Q: My husband and I already have the air tube headset you featured on today’s video. However, I would like you opinion about my husband wearing the cell phone on his belt. Is there a certain device/pouch you could recommend that would protect his organs from the radiation from the cell phone? What do you do with the cell phone when it is attached to the head set? Do you carry yours on your body while it is turned on?A: I NEVER carry my cell phone on my body unless it is turned off. Otherwise it is always in my carrying case.  My friends know that a cell phone is not a reliable way to get in touch with me as I do NOT carry it on my body. No way I would do that to my body as I respect it too much.

QA: Natural Treatment for Type 1 Diabetes

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 4:45 am

Q: I am in my early twenties, and I was recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Are there any cutting-edge, natural means (such as systemic enzymes) of fighting this illness?A: Tough one. If there are any consistently effective treatments that will resolve type one diabetes I am unaware of them.  Type two diabetes is nearly 100% reversible in everyone but this is not true for type one.
Fortunately you live in the 20th century and I remain very confident that stem cell treatments and artificial pancreas with feedback loops from implanted sensors will provide a very good solution for you in the near future. In the meantime you have to eat virtually perfectly and follow the Total Health Program to a T.
You have to preserve as much function as possible until an effective solution is available in the next 5-20 years.

QA: Onions cause gas

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 4:42 am

Q: I know onions and garlic are crucial to obtain and keep good health but for the last few years onions have been causing so much gas that I cannot eat them. This includes raw or cooked.
I only want to use a small bit for flavor cooking.
Any suggestions?A: This is called a “clue”.  Your body is screaming at you to STOP eating them.  I would not eat them until you have some type of intervention to clear this up. There are a large number of energy medicine techniques that can clear nearly all food allergies but until you have that intervention stay clear as it is most likely harming your body.

QA: Don’t agree with your recent blue tooth conclusion

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 4:36 am

Q: Do you really believe having a blue tooth in your ear is comparable to a cell phone? The cell phone needs enough power to communicate to a distant tower; hence high radiation doses. A blue tooth needs enough power to communicate with a cell phone only feet away. FYI, I & my friends love your emails; however, your stance on blue tooth has caused you to lose some credibility. That said, we are hopeful you write back agreeing with our logic, or further defending your stance? Thank you.A: I have measured the radiation. Have you?

QA: I’m the bad guy

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 3:13 pm

Q: Thank you so much, I owe you my daughter’s life. She was so ill until I started taking your advice for asthma. No meds now, I think we could do better. How can I get my 4 children to eat what I know they need. everywhere they go, school, grandmas, they get junk food, I am the bad guy. Is there a source for kid friendly recipes?Again, I can’t thank you enough for what you have done for our family. May God richly bless you.
A: Glad the program is working for you children. That is the mission and purpose of the site to improve you and your family’s well being with simple inexpensive changes.  With respect to training your children it is important to understand that this is a marathon not a sprint.
If you take a very rigid approach with your children they will greatly resent it and [...]

QA: How can I Verify and Test for myself?

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 2:57 pm

Q: How can I test at home? I buy organic meats I buy regular. They taste the same. How do I test for antibiotics myself, omega 3’s? Or am I just paying higher prices “thinking” it is better. Same for vegetables how do I know there are pesticides in them? Are they really bad if the FDA says it is OK? I am just so tired of 2 sides to every story. I want to know if I am putting in this effort to save my health. I have been to government databases. I want more. How do I get them? I want to do the testsA: Organic meats is NOT as important as grass fed as nearly all grass fed animals are organic but the converse is not true.  Omega-3’s are not something that warrants testing. As I have said repeatedly your primary source of omega-3 should be krill [...]

QA: Is almond milk okay?

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 2:11 pm

Q: I know you do not recommend soy milk, so I have stopped using it. I do not have a source for raw milk (I live in Hawaii, where it is illegal!) I love my morning sprouted grains cereal, so my question is, can I use almond milk on the cereal? (Almond Breeze from the health food store).A: Almond milk is certainly far better than pasteurized milk or soy milk but as it is highly processed still not ideal for you. If you don’t struggle with weight issues it is probably fine to use intermittently.  When I used to eat cereal regularly (many years ago before I knew better) I would use water and it worked quite well

QA: asthma and dairy

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 1:34 am

Q: Hi Dr. Mercola, Let me just say that I Love you and think your information is wonderful, My son has asthma and I was told to take him off all dairy. I have done that. My question to you, is what about organic grass fed dairy? Is that any different for a child with asthma? Also, we live in New Jersey, and I cannot get non pasturized dairy. I do however buy organic grass fed butter and milk. Is that ok, or is the pasturisation killing all the good stuf?A: We get thousands of questions but I must admit that I am more inclined to answer questions of those that express their deep appreciation. Great question but I have answered it many times previously on the site. So please use the search engine. Simple answer pasteurization is an absolute AVOID.  You simply [...]
